COUNCIL
Devon Bird Watching & Preservation Society, as a charity, is run by a Council of Trustees. Council meets four times a year to set all major policy and agree working budgets and oversee the conduct of working groups and the Society.
Current Council Members and Trustees
Day-to-day administration is handled by the Executive Committee, comprising the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
The majority of the Society's ongoing work – such as fieldwork and publishing – is normally handled by working groups or individual officers.
The three major working groups and their members are listed below.
